A comic book shop in midtown Manhattan is looking for its new universe. JHU Comics is losing its lease on 32nd Street.

It's owners have launched a GoFundMe.com page to help raise money to pay for renovations to a new space.

Some say the comic book industry is going by the wayside because of online access to comics.

Owners say there is still a need for a brick and mortar - mom and pop - comic book shop.

"As far as, um, loosing iconic New York things, I grew up in New York City, you know, I've seen all these wonderful book stores, music venues, and record stores that I used to love...all go away," said Co-Owner Ron Hill.

Hill says they've already raised nearly $10,000 towards their $30,000 goal.
