Yeshiva University's historic season comes to an end after the team lost Friday n the first round of the Division Three NCAA basketball tournament.

Yeshiva took an early 8-6 lead against York College of Pennsylvania.

But the Spartans then scored 20 straight points and never looked back.

The final score was 81-67.

It was the first time in the Maccabees 85 years they made it to the tournament.

The game was moved up several hours to accommodate the players.

Because they're religiously observant, they cannot play on the Jewish Sabbath, which lasts until sundown Saturday.

Yeshiva finishes with a record of 18 and 10.
