The NYPD says it happened just after midnight at the intersection of 10th Avenue and 18th Street in Windsor Terrace.

Police say the man was riding an e-bike through the intersection when he was struck by a gray SUV that drove off.

It's not yet clear whether the driver or rider disobeyed a traffic signal.

Meanwhile, a man has been charged after his car struck an 11-year-old boy in Queens on Thursday.

Police say 68-year-old Nasser Essa was driving on Lefferts Boulevard when he hit the boy crossing the street at Rockaway Boulevard.

The boy was taken to the hospital and remains in critical condition.

Essa is charged with leaving the scene of an accident and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Police say Essa did have the green light.
