NEW YORK - Mayor Bill de Blasio has plans to install a Black Lives Matter mural in front of Trump Tower.

A City Hall spokesperson put out a statement calling the president "a disgrace to the values we cherish in New York City."

It goes on to say, "Any time he wants to set foot in the place he claims is his hometown, he should be reminded Black Lives Matter."

He did change his his primary residence from New York to Florida but that hasn't stopped the Secret Service from maintaining a presence at Trump Tower.

In a tweet Thursday, Trump responded to the report.

Trump has previously said the Black Lives Matter movement means a lot to him.

There are similar street murals in Brooklyn and on Staten Island.

The mayor's office eventually plans to put one in each borough.
