BROOKLYN, N.Y. - A Long Island man faces life in prison for the murder of a Brooklyn pizzeria owner.

Andres Fernandez was found guilty Monday in the 2016 killing of "L&B Spumoni Gardens" owner Louis Barbati.

Barbati was on his way home from work when Fernandez shot him outside his Dyker Heights home.

The DA's office says Barbati was carrying more than $15,000 in cash on him at the time, but Fernandez fled without taking the money.

He is set to be sentenced next month.
