BROOKLYN, N.Y. - An e-bike rider is in critical condition after colliding with a private garbage truck in Brooklyn Sunday night.

Police say the man was trying to cross at 12th Street and Third Avenue in Gowanus around 9:30 p.m. when he was hit by the truck as it turned onto 12th.

The driver stayed on the scene but has not been arrested or charged.
