BROOKLYN, N.Y. - Police are looking for a person of interest after a Jewish man was attacked in Brooklyn on Tuesday.

The NYPD's Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating.

Police say the 63-year-old victim was running in Lincoln Terrace Park in Crown Heights when the attacker approached him and started punching.

The attacker also hit the man in the face with a rock.

Investigators say they had no verbal interaction before the incident.

The victim was taken to the hospital with two broken teeth and a cut on his head.

Mayor Bill de Blasio tweeted about the case, saying "We will find the attacker. This city will stop at nothing to protect our communities from hate and violence."
