NEW YORK - A cluster of Legionnaires' that broke out in Washington Heights in September was larger than the Health Department originally thought.

Two clusters broke out earlier this year at the same Sugar Hill Housing complex.

One in July, the second in September.

The Health Department says at least 32 people were infected in the second instance.

That number is up from the 16 first thought.

That brings the total of both clusters to 59 infections and two deaths.

It is important to look out for symptoms of Legionnaires' Disease.

The bacteria grows in warm water and symptoms include fever, chills and muscle aches.

The cluster investigations are ongoing, but officials say steps have been taken to sanitize cooling towers in the area.
