Austrian artist, Erwin Wurm, has unveiled his latest art installation at Brooklyn Bridge Park at it's called the Hot Dog Bus.

The bus’s bloated form is supposed to encourage audiences to reconsider the relationship between capitalism and consumption in today’s culture.

Consumption is actually part of the installation as well; visitors are treated to free hot dogs from the bus all summer long.

"It's not at all like the art work that they are used to seeing around the city//and it's something that's extremely generous and I've been so happy to see people really, to use a bad pun, really relish in that," said Daniel S. Palmer, tje Associate Curator at the New York Public Art Fund.

The bus is located at Pier 1 on Saturdays and at Pier 5 on Sundays through August 26th.
