A Brooklyn school will play its way into history books this weekend.

The South Shore High School girls and boys basketball teams will compete Saturday in the Public School Athletic League Championship game at the Barclays Center.

This will be the first time in the league's history that a school has both male and female teams competing for a double A championship.

"I've prayed for this day," said South Shore athletic director Pat Rani. "I knew I always had the talent but sometimes there's a hiccup in the road, and luckily the boys started jelling, the girls are always a dominate factor."

If you want to watch history in the making, tickets are still being sold.
