City police are searching for the men they say are responsible for deli robberies in Brooklyn and Queens that occurred within 20 minutes of each other.

The first robbery happened Jan. 11 around 9:40 p.m. at Avenue L near East 98th St. in Canarsie, according to authorities.

Officials said the two men approached an employee at the deli and demanded money from the register, making off with about $1,000.

Police said the men robbed another deli about 20 minutes later on Pitkin Ave. near 85th St. in Ozone Park.

Surveillance video from police shows a man taking out what appears to be a gun, pointing it at someone behind the register, and taking a cellphone and cash. Police say the perpetrators fled the deli with about $1,900.

There were no reported injuries in either robbery.

The men police say robbed the delis are described as being in their 20s, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighing between 130 to 150 pounds, and were last seen wearing all dark clothing.
