NEW YORK - It appears the New York Giants have found their new coach.

According to multiple reports, sources say the team's offering the job to to Vikings offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur who is expected to accept.

The 52-year-old was head coach of the Browns in 2011 and 2012, winning 9 games.

This season, he's credited with helping turn Case Keenum into one of the league's top quarterbacks.

But since the Vikings are still in the playoffs, an official offer can't be made until their season ends.

That could come next Monday if they lose the NFC Championship game to the Eagles.

If not, the Giants have to wait until after the Super Bowl.
