Some four legged friends were hoping to find a forever home Saturday.

The organization, Korean K-9 Rescue, hosted its end of the year adoption event at a pet shop in Sunnyside.  Dogs of all different ages and breeds were on hand - each looking for a new home after being rescued from a dog meat farm in Korea.  Potential adopters dropped off applications with the hopes of being vetted to take home one of the adorable pups.  The organization's founder, Gina Boehler, says it hopes to make a difference.

"We see some really sad stories, but we like to be the happy ending to the story and find these dogs home and rehabilitate them."

According to Korean K-9 Rescue, it's found homes for nearly three hundred dogs, rescued from the dog meat trade business.
