The NYPD is looking for a man who allegedly scammed a 70-year-old man and assaulted him on the street in Brooklyn.

Investigators say on June 29 around 6:30 p.m. the victim tried to buy an iPod from this man. That was on Flatbush Avenue near Woodruff Avenue in the Flatbush and Ditmas Park area.

They say the victim handed the man some money and the seller walked away without giving him the iPod.

The man then apparently punched the buyer several times in the face after he tried to get his money back.

The victim fell to the ground and was taken to Kings County Hospital.

Police say the man drove off on a scooter.
