President Trump's tweeting Sunday has touched off another controversy.

The president re-tweeted a photo of himself with the caption "WINNING" and the logo of CNN on the sole of his shoe. The CNN logo appears to be splattered with blood.

Trump frequently criticizes the news network, which did not immediately respond.

But former Republican Congressman Joe Walsh did, tweeting, "Mr. President, put your phone down. It's Christmas. Quit attacking people on Twitter."

This is not the first time Trump has tweeted content to slam CNN.

He raised public outcry in early-July after he tweeted a video that showed him body-slamming a person whose face was replaced with the CNN logo.
