BRONX, N.Y. - City health officials are investigating after two cases of Legionnaires' disease were discovered at the Bronx River Houses.

The facility's water tested positive for Legionnella bacteria.

The Health Department says the two tenants got sick "during the past 12 months".

However, they say tenants are not likely to get sick from the water supply.

They're encouraging residents to use cold water that won't create mist, since water vapor increases the chances of getting sick.

Tenants should seek medical attention if they experience symptoms such as fever, chills, muscle aches and a cough.
