Police said a two-year-old girl with autism was found Wednesday evening after her biological father took her during a supervised visit in the Bronx, prompting an Amber Alert.

21-year-old Christian Benitez, who is now in custody, took Seniya Benitez around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at a building near Gleason and Castle Hill Avenues in Castle Hill of the Bronx, the NYPD said.

Police said Benitez got into a dispute with the girl's foster parent and knocked the person to the ground before running off with the toddler. Benitez was not allowed to be with the child without supervision, officials said.

Seniya was taken under circumstances that led police to believe she was in imminent danger, authorities said.
