NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas - New Braunfels police are looking for the man responsible for robbing a bank Friday afternoon.

Police said the robbery took place about 4:15 p.m. at the Chase Bank located in the 600 block of South Walnut Avenue.

According to witnesses, a man entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding cash. He then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

No weapons were displayed and there were no injuries, police said.

The man responsible was described as white or Hispanic, 5 feet, 9 inches tall and with a medium build. He was wearing a blue hoodie and dark sunglasses.

He was last seen heading south along the I-35 frontage road on foot.
