Lehman College in the Bronx is teaming up with several public universities in Mexico to help create a new era of academic cooperation.

It's being called an unprecedented agreement. The deal is between the Jaime Lucero Mexican Studies Institute at Lehman and eight Mexican universities. This agreement will eventually lead to the exchange of students, faculty, and bilateral research projects between Lehman and the schools in Mexico. One of the main goals of the institute is to boost enrollment of Mexican and Mexican-American students.
