The producers of the Broadway musical "A Bronx Tale " have decided to donate some of the proceeds from some of their shows to the victims of last month's deadly fire in the Bronx.

The fire on Prospect Avenue became the city's deadliest fire in more than 25 years. A dozen people, including children died in the fire. Investigators say a three year old boy playing with a stove in his apartment caused the fire

The producers of "A Bronx Tale "will donate $4.00 for every ticket sold to performances from Tuesday January 16  through Sunday Janurary 21 to the not -for- profit The Child Reach Foundation. The foundation will help the victims impacted by the tragedy. Actor and Bronx native Chazz Palminter started the foundation in 2005 with his wife. He was inspired to write "A Bronx Tale" based on his childhood in the Bronx.
