The NHL, alongside the New York Rangers and several other foundations unveiled a newly renovated youth leadership center along Gerard Avenue in the Bronx on Tuesday.

The makeover is just part of the league's Winter Classic Legacy Project which promotes philanthropic work for a community organization in the event's host city.

The Women’s Housing and Economic Development Corporation uses the space to offer educational programming to kids of all ages.

Some of the renovations include new computers for the technology lab, a new library and studio space with a state of the art sound system.
