A performance art protest in Manhattan called on Congress to pass the Dream Act fast.

Draped with black veils, organizers say the Dream Killers performance highlights the growing uncertainty felt by many young undocumented immigrants.

They're calling on Congress to pass a so-called "clean" Dream Act before their holiday break that is not tied to funding for a border wall, more immigration agents or other provisions that harm immigrant communities.

If Congress does not pass a new Dream Act by March 5, 2018, thousands of immigrants brought to the country illegally as children could lose their protected status.
