With just over a month until the start of early voting for the November general election, Republican Curtis Sliwa joined Errol to talk about his campaign for mayor. He discussed some of the top issues of his campaign, including public safety and animal rights. And he shared his personal experience with Rikers Island as the only candidate who’s been detained at the massive jail complex. He also discussed his roots as a community organizer, how he started the Guardian Angels and his career as a radio host. And he explained why crime boss John Gotti targeted him and the time he narrowly survived after getting shot several times in a cab.

Check out Errol’s conversation with Democratic nominee Eric Adams.
