A low pressure system gave parts of the five boroughs a dusting of snow early this morning, but, skies quickly cleared-out afterwards and New Yorkers were treated to a bright and beautiful afternoon. In addition. afternoon temperatures only reached the low 30s, making it the fourth straight day in which afternoon highs were below normal.

Expect the sunshine to return on Monday and stay place through Thursday. It will remain quite cold however with afternoon highs only reaching the upper 30s and low 40s.

Things could turn a bit messy late in the week as a pair of storm systems are forecasted to approach the region. Nothing is definite just yet, but, you might want to put your umbrellas and shovels on standby. Stay tuned.
