The remnants of Tropical Storm Gordon gave the five boroughs a gray and damp Sunday, and afternoon highs only reached the 60s for the first time since June 23rd. The precipitation stayed mainly on the light side however, with most areas receiving a quarter to a third-of-an-inch of rain.

Expect the clouds and raindrops to remain in place throughout the day on Monday. Downpours are possible in some areas, and it will be quite breezy as well. Look for temperatures to crawl towards the 70-degree mark.

Warmer and more humid conditions will be seen Tuesday through Thursday, but, the threat of spotty wet weather will remain. Temperatures will rise into the upper 70s and low 80s. For now, conditions are looking dry for the next weekend, but, Florence could change that.
