A high pressure system off to our south gave the Big Apple partly sunny skies and low humidity on Saturday, and temperatures were in the 80s for the fourth straight day.

The warm conditions stay in place for Sunday, however, we will have many more clouds to deal with, and showers and storms will move through the area from time-to-time. Temperatures are likely to reach the upper 80s again, and we could see a slight increase in the humidity.

Looking ahead, expect the threat of showers and storms to linger into Monday and Tuesday. It will be noticeably more humid as well. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees. The second half of the week is looking brighter and less humid with temperatures in the low to mid 80s.
