Spring officially beings on Tuesday just after noon, but just hours later, the first few raindrops and snowflakes of our next nor'easter will be arriving into New York City.

The next nor'easter really isn't in full gear until Wednesday afternoon, when we expect heavy snow and wind. Earlier in the day, some rain and sleet could mix with snow, with limited accumulations on roads and sidewalks.

As the snow picks up during the afternoon, travel will become difficult. Wind will cause other issues as gusts exceed 40 mph.

Right now, the NY1 forecast is for 3 to 6 inches of snow. That forecast is subject to change as we fine tune details about the track and the temperatures trends for this next storm. Stay tuned.
