The sunshine returned to the Big Apple just hours after a nor'easter lashed the area with rain, snow, gusty winds, and flooding. The winds weren't as strong as they were on Friday, but, gusts of over 40mph were seen in some locations.

More sunshine is in store for Sunday, but, it will be breezy once again and temperatures will remain at seasonably cold levels.

As we look ahead, temperatures are expected to be slightly below-normal during the upcoming week. Afternoon highs will primarily be in the low to mid 40s. Mostly sunny skies will be seen on Monday, but, another storm system is likely to affect the region Tuesday evening through early Thursday morning.
