Last night we said goodbye to 2017 with temperatures of just 9 degrees, making it the coldest New Year's Eve in the last 100 years and the second coldest overall. Sadly, we aren't expecting any significant warm up in the next week or so.

Aside from the cold, we are tracking a potential storm system that, depending on the track, it could bring a few inches of snow for Thursday. It's too early to talk about exact impact or accumulation and there is a lot of uncertainty due to the lack of agreement by the forecasting models.

Forecast:

Tuesday: Mostly sunny and breezy. High: 25

Wednesday: Partly cloudy. High: 28
