A storm system brought another round of the white stuff to the five boroughs on Saturday, and afternoon temperatures were below-normal for the sixth straight day. Most areas saw around an inch of accumulation, but, some locations to the south and east got a bit more.

Sunday is looking brighter, but, it will remain bitter cold, and the winds will increase as well. Gusts in excess of 25mph are possible throughout the day; Combine that with afternoon temperatures in the teens, and it will feel like the single digits.

If you are heading out late Sunday evening to ring in 2018, be sure to dress in multiple layers because temperatures will only be between 10 and 15 degrees.
