Passengers were forced to evacuate an F train Saturday evening after it partially derailed in Queens, MTA officials said.

Officials say it happened just before 8 p.m.

According to the MTA, two wheels on the first car of a southbound train left the tracks in a tunnel between the Parsons Boulevard and Sutphin Boulevard stations. 

A "reach train" pulled up behind the derailed train to enable the train's 195 passengers to get off at the Parsons Boulevard station, MTA officials said.

No injuries were reported, and there is no indication that there was any damage to the rails.

The derailment resulted in numerous service changes along the F line in Queens.

An MTA official said power was restored to the lines that were shut off at around 11 p.m.

Officials say they are looking into whether the train ran over an object because they say a mat used to cover the third rail during projects was found underneath the second car of the train.
