New Yorkers who love life on the water have a chance at a job with the city's new ferry service.

Hornblower, the company that operates the boats, is looking to hire about 80 new deckhands over the next month.

Those who make the cut will be trained to safely dock the ships.

The company says no maritime experience is necessary. Interested applicants only need a high school diploma and people skills.

The first ferry launched in May between the Rockaways and Lower Manhattan.

Two additional routes are now open. The fleet will eventually have 20 boats traveling along six different routes.
