We're getting a first look at the new citywide ferry service.

The Economic Development Corporation unveiled maps of the routes.

They say the service will connect more than 4 million people to 21 different neighborhoods around the city.

Officials say the fare will cost the same as a subway ride, and those who already take the East River ferry will see their fares drop to the same amount.

The service will be operated by Hornblower.

They say each boat can carry at least 150 passengers and will be equipped with Wi-Fi.

The first new ferries will launch in Rockaway, South Brooklyn and Astoria next year.
