The New York Giants are once again in the market for a new head coach.

The team announced Tuesday afternoon that Joe Judge has been fired after two seasons.

Judge was 10-23 in his two seasons at the helm. After a 6-10 record in 2020, the Giants were 4-13 in 2021, and lost their last six games.

The next head coach of the Giants will be the team's fifth since Tom Coughlin left the organization after the 2015 season. Ben McAdoo was fired in the middle of his second season in 2017. Steve Spagnuolo served as interim coach for the last four games of the 2017 season. Pat Shurmur was hired before the 2018 season, and was fired in 2019 after a 9-23 record across two full seasons. Judge was hired as Shurmur's replacement.

The firing of Judge comes a day after it was announced that General Manager Dave Gettleman was retiring. Gettleman was hired before the start of the 2018 season. New York was 19-46 during his time as GM, and never won more than six games in a season.
