For hours Friday, people filed into a funeral home in the Bronx to honor a woman killed by a stray bullet last week.

Police say Sally Ntim was killed in her car on the corner of Sheridan and McClellan in the Bronx. Her family says she was getting food from one of her favorite restaurants when a stray bullet hit her on April 12.

“I’m just sad I will never be able to see her have her own kids or do anything,” said Dana Ntim, one of Sally’s sisters, before breaking down. “I’m sorry.”

“This shouldn’t happen to anyone’s child,” said Theresa Twum, one of Ntim’s cousins.

In the last few weeks, there have been several incidents of people shot and killed by stray bullets in New York City.

On March 31, 12-year-old Kade Lewin was shot and killed while eating dinner in his aunt’s car in Brooklyn. On April 4, 61-year-old Juana Soriano De-Perdomo tried diving away from bullets flying in the Bronx, while on her way to get groceries after work. On April 8, 16-year-old Angellyh Yambo was gunned down near a high school in the Bronx.

“If you want to fight you want to play with guns, go to Iraq go to Ukraine, go to war. Get off the street and killing innocent people,” said Desire Ntim, Sally’s other sister.

Desire and Dana say they’re angry, but they want her honor Sally’s memory, a 23-year-old with big dreams of owning a hair salon.

“I’m just so hurt it was cut short and for no reason at all,” said Dana.

ND Ezekie went to high school with Sally and wore his prom jacket on Friday to the funeral home.

“It’s my way of showing how much I really loved Sally and supported her and everything,” he said, holding a bouquet of flowers and adding he cried before coming, unsure if he had the strength to come.

Whoever shot Ntim is still out there.

Ntim’s heartbroken family said since they can’t bring Sally back, the next best thing is justice.

“How can you rest In peace when they haven’t found your killer,” said Twum, through tears.
