Lansingburgh school buildings are on a precautionary lockout for the day as Troy police investigate a shooting that resulted in a teen being rushed to the hospital.

According to police, it happened Monday night in the alley along 6th Avenue between 102nd and 103rd streets.

The male teen was taken to a nearby hospital with a gunshot wound to his chest. Police say he is in stable condition.

There's no word on any suspects.
