NEW YORK — Two special elections for vacated City Council seats in the Bronx will be held in March, Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Monday.

Special elections for Districts 11 and 15 will be held March 23.

The elections will be held to fill the vacancies left by new Rep. Ritchie Torres (the 15th District), who was sworn in on Capitol Hill on Sunday, and Andrew Cohen (11th), who accepted a judgeship.

The 11th District covers neighborhoods that include Kingsbridge, Riverdale, Norwood, Wakefield, and Woodlawn.

The 15th includes Fordham, Mount Hope, Belmont, East Tremont, Allerton, and Olinville.

The election winners will serve until the end of the year.
