The race for governor of New York may not be truly heating up, but it's at least getting lukewarm because of State Sen. John DeFrancisco. The colorful upstate lawmaker officially announced on Tuesday that he will take on Andrew Cuomo for governor. DeFrancisco is often a thorn in the Governor’s side, which could make this race more interesting. But as of now, the Republican is first facing at least two primary opponents.
