A woman was arrested Tuesday in connection to the burning of a pride flag hanging outside a SoHo restaurant earlier this week, according to police.

Angelina Cando, 30, is facing multiple charges, including criminal mischief in the second degree as a hate crime, arson in the fourth degree as a hate crime, criminal mischief in the fourth degree and making graffiti.

Authorities say the incident happened around 1:30 a.m. Monday in front of the restaurant Little Prince.

The owner of the Little Prince restaurant called the act disgusting, but not shocking.

"It's nothing new. The hate is out there. I don't think it's surprising," Cobi Levy, the owner of Little Prince, said.

Surveillance video shows a person lighting the gay pride flag on fire outside the restaurant, according to authorities.

The fire damaged part of the outside of the building, but no one was hurt, authorities said.

According to the Manhattan district attorney's office, Cando caused damage to the windows, doors, flower displays and vestibule of the property. The estimated damage costs between $25,000 and $35,000, authorities said.

Cando was also charged with vandalizing two cop cars on Sunday night. She allegedly scrawled the words "Jesus is King" on the vehicles, police said. For that, she was charged with criminal mischief for possession of graffiti tools.

Additionally, Cando was charged with vandalizing walls at a subway station located at Varick Street and Franklin Street. According to authorities, she was seen on surveillance video writing "Jesus," "J&A," "Jesus is King" and an obscenity on the wall using a marker.

Cando was also previously charged with menacing earlier in February and with assault in January, according to authorities.

A judge ordered an exam to determine if Cando is fit to stand trial. Her next court date is March 22.
