The 2022 Rockefeller Center Christmas tree has been chosen.

According to Rockefeller Center's official Instagram, the 2022 tree will be an 82-foot-tall Norway Spruce from Queensbury.

The tree was donated by the Lebowitz family in Glens Falls, according to NBC New York, which will air the tree lighting ceremony later this month. The tree is believed to be around 85 to 90 years old.

The tree is scheduled to be cut down in the coming days to be transported to Manhattan.

Once the tree is situated at Rockefeller Center, it will be decorated with tens of thousands of LED lights and topped with a crystal star.

This year's Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting ceremony is set for Nov. 30.

According to NBC, once the Christmas season is over, the tree will be milled into lumber and donated to Habitat for Humanity.
