BROOKLYN, N.Y. — A 76-year-old man was seriously hurt this week after being pushed to the ground inside a Brooklyn subway station.

Police say a woman approached the man Thursday afternoon at the Marcy Avenue "J" and "M" subway station in Williamsburg.

She allegedly pushed the victim down and ran off.

The man suffered bleeding to his brain and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
