Mayor de Bill Blasio and Governor Andrew Cuomo updated New Yorkers on the latest COVID-19 metrics across the city and state Sunday.
Governor Cuomo reports, of the more than 246,000 tests reported Saturday, more than 15,000 were positive.

Total COVID hospitalizations are at 8,484.

That puts the state's positivity rate is 6.22%.
There are more than 8,000 total COVID-19 hospitalizations across the state and 151 New Yorkers died Saturday from COVID-19, according to the governor.
Mayor de Blasio says the city recorded more than 3,000 new COVID-19 cases Saturday.

The mayor is urging every New Yorker who is eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine to make an appointment to get vaccinated at NYC.gov/covidvaccine.
