NEW YORK - NYPD officials tell NY1 Police Commissioner Dermot Shea has tested positive for coronavirus.
He is said to be doing well and for the safety of his department he is running the department remotely and is in constant contact with the executive staff.

He had been exposed to others who tested positive.
NY1 is told he immediately quarantined and is doing well.
