BRONX, N.Y. - The city fire department is investigating an early morning fire on Thursday that ripped through three businesses in the Bronx.

Three firefighters were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. 

The two alarm fire started just after 1 a.m. inside a restaurant located at 14 East Gun Hill Road in Norwood. 

More than 100 firefighters responded to the scene. the flames were under control around 3 a.m.

The restaurant, a beauty salon and a jewelry store suffered heavy damage.
