Seven more weekend outdoor dining locations have been added to the city’s Open Streets and Open Restaurants program. With the addition, there are 87 participating streets and nine pedestrian plazas.

The locations feature car-free spaces that allow restaurants to expand socially distanced seating options on Fridays from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 11 p.m.

Grand Street in Williamsburg has two new dining locations; another two locations can be found along West Broadway in Tribeca. A location was added to Rivington Street on the Lower East Side and another location was added to Saint Marks Place in the East Village. Finally, a new location was added to 9th Street in New Dorp on Staten Island. 

The program, which started in June, has more than 10,000 participating businesses.
