QUEENS, N.Y. - Firefighters are investigating the cause of a house fire in Queens early Friday morning that sent eight people to the hospital overnight.

The fire broke out around 12:30 a.m. on the first floor of the home located at 64-05 35th Avenue in Woodside.

The FDNY says a 24-year-old female and 9-year-old female were taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

A 56-year-old female and 32-year-old female were hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

Four firefighters were treated to for minor injuries.

The FDNY says fire marshals are now looking into the cause.
