Just last week, New York City entered Phase One of reopening, but Mayor Bill de Blasio is already looking ahead to Phase Two, which will allow for socially distanced outdoor dining. 

But for weeks now, restaurants and bars have started to welcome patrons again, offering food and drinks for take-out and pick-up. And as the weather gets warmer, more and more New Yorkers are taking advantage.

While restaurant owners are happy to be back in business, many are figuring out how to stay afloat while also keeping staff and customers safe.

Vittorio Antonini, owner of La Laterna di Vittorio in the West Village, shared how he's adjusting to this new reality.
