NEW YORK - Current and former staffers of the de Blasio administration are holding a protest near City Hall this Monday.

Last week, they published an open letter outlining four demands for police accountability and reform.

One of those demands includes stripping $1 billion from the NYPD’s next fiscal budget.

They say they want that money to go toward employment and social service efforts.

De Blasio has faced scrutiny for standing behind the NYPD, despite several reports of violence during protests.

Hundreds were expected to take part in Monday's rally before marching to Gracie Mansion.
