It's "game over" for a popular baseball-themed bar in Manhattan.

The owner of Foley's Pub, Shaun Clancy, announced on Twitter it will not reopen when the city does.

Located across from the Empire State Building on West 33rd Street Foley's is covered with baseball memorabilia including thousands of autographed baseballs.

"I really don't know what to say except thank you for everything you've done. Foley's was always about the people. Even now as I look around I.. so many memories. All I will say is, this is the end of the inning, but not the end of the game. Thank you," Clancy said.

Foley's is also home to the Irish-American Baseball hall of fame recognizing those of Irish descent who have made major contributions to baseball.
