We all need a little good news these days, so you’ve been posting and sending those moments to me and we are sharing them with you.
School band director Charlie Jackson is encouraging his middle schoolers to go outside and practice their instruments at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Those delightful sounds will fill the neighborhood this week.
He is encouraging musicians of all ages to join them.
Sabahat Khan and her children used their toys, stuffed animals and some Irish music to create a St. Patrick’s Day parade all their own.
“I hope this goes viral. It’s the best thing I’ve seen all day,” said one person who watched the video.
And finally Dr. Ahmed Rabea and others on the front lines are sending a reminder to the public, urging us all to do our part: “We stay here for you, please stay home for us.”
